History
The Campus Crusade movement includes more than 25,000 staff present in over 196 countries worldwide.
In 1976, Campus Crusade began the Family ministry to provide pre-marriage events for its engaged staff members.
Because of the success in helping pre-marrieds, married staff members began asking for resources.
Then community leaders and pastors found out about the events and said it was exactly what couples needed - the blueprints on how to build strong homes.
The FamilyLife marriage event became open to the public in 1976. This event is built upon timeless principles that provide proven solutions for marital success.
Since then, thousands of couples have attended FamilyLife events in the United States and around the world.
Outreaches to families are offered in over 78 countries on six continents by teaching people God's blueprints for the family in their languages and in the context of their culture, bringing families to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
FamilyLife Philippines, Inc. initially started in 1994 and was formally organized and registered at Securities Exchange Commission in 2004.
In the ten intervening years, and continuing until the present, marriage and parenting conferences and seminars are being held and attended throughout the country.
A growing number of HomeBuilders groups also meet regularly as couples see the need for learning and living out God's timeless principles for the family.
As God raises up champion couples who claim this ministry as their own, we hope a FamilyLife movement will develop in every region, city and baranggay in the country until our whole society is transformed. God's blessing on these outreaches and His provision through staff and volunteers are what make FamilyLife effective in encouraging and enabling families in our world to live Christ-centered lives.
